She was second-guessed for not debating Lake, but she set the standard w/ that: don't treat election deniers and conspiracy theorists as serious candidates. Don't give them additional forums to tell their lies.

And this was further repudiation of Trump and Trumpism. The 2022 election has been amazing.

There is big money in drama. She got criticized for her debate strategy you mentioned. I thought it was great. Her statement:

“If you recall the last GOP primary debate here in Arizona, it ended up on late night comedy television. Voters were dumber for watching that,”

 “It’s clear that Kari Lake is much more interested in creating a spectacle and having the spotlight than actually having a substantive discussion about the issues.”

A television personality/opponent made quite a bit of hay from it, but aside from conspiracy theories Lake had nothing to offer. Still, all the headlines made it sound like Hobbs blew it for not debating. Right below it was a headline about Fetterman blowing it because he DID debate.

Drama pays.

Like the Senate race in Az, the odds were great for both of them once the last two counties historically leaned blue.

Lake did some of her best bits in the last couple of days. It gets real tomorrow.

I wonder if she'll hire Rudy the Drunk?
 
It's going to be hard for Trump if he is the GOP nominee to steal an election now?!! Most of all of his election deniers in key battle ground states lost their elections too?!!

America rejected the election deniers and Trumpism too, and our fragile democracy has survive another day?!!

It will be interesting to see if Lake concedes or carries her election denialism to the extreme. I actually think Lake will concede because she will sense America's tired of the MAGA propaganda.
 
So, if Hobbs does win, will she be a chair warmer like she was as Secretary of State or will she be a Democrat fuck up like our last Democrat governor Janet "Nappy" Napolitano? Or, maybe she'll just continue her racist ways and get slammed for a few more million over it...

I hope you're right, but it depends on how much and what kind of personal gain she calculates to get out of dragging it out.

If she's like Trump, the publicity she craves might be too much to pass up.

No, it's your opinion. I remember one of the Republican governors who got in Obama's face and shook her finger at him. Remember how she fucked up her last debate and forgot her script?

Yeah, Republicans in AZ have a lot to answer for, the fuck ups who brought in the "Ninja" outfit to investigate the election.

I think it's pretty clear its the GOP who've fucked up and thus handed the elections to Democrats.
