Correct. The soundbite was horrible. Because, frankly, Democrats are HORRIBLE at messaging. Which is, IMHO, why Biden deserves so much credit for this result. He spoke in plain terms about problems facing the country. And people listened.

Sadly this is a person who, when a sensational rape story hits the news -- especially if it involves an athlete -- always takes the side of the accused. It's always the woman's fault. She shouldn't have been there/shouldn't have had alcohol/shouldn't have made eye contact/shouldn't have "dressed that way," etc. There's a reason why the Republican party attracts people like this who are eager to put women back in their "place."

True. And I also agree with you about the (D)s. Hillary's true-but-bitchy "basket full of deplorables" comment was another instance of that.

The (R)s want everyone angry, fearful, and looking to them to fix it. The murder rate has risen. What they don't add to that statistic is when it rose -- during #TRE45ON's tenure. So why would we trust them to fix it now?
