I vote anyway! I want my vote to be historically recorded, and it proven that more Democrats vote in Texas than Republicans- but yet the Republicans do always win somehow.

I want this unfairness exposed- with the hope someone cares somewhere and wants to level the playing field!

And not only that- If I didn't vote, I would feel guilty about my even discussing politics anymore!

In 2018 the good people of Michigan, us included, voted for a nonpartisan commission who was tasked with redrawing the maps to level the playing field. Historically (D)s won the top positions while the legislators were a majority (R), so getting the people's business done was difficult, to say the least. This is the first state-wide election with the new maps. We now have a (D) majority in both houses *and* in the executive and judicial branches. This reflects what you said -- more (D)s vote than (R)s, yet somehow the (R)s always had the majority of representatives/senators. Not no more.

More and more states will likely be adopting this measure. Watch for the Reichwingers to fight it tooth and nail, even though in some states (like the East) they would very well benefit from it.

Goat isn't known for his honesty, patriotism or humanity. Even if Stalin did say it, the comment doesn't apply to the United States where we have over 200 years of overseeing the honesty of elections.

Let's take a step back and consider what the douchebags and Trumpers are really saying: They are saying the Democrats are smarter than they are. How else could the Democrats win so many elections that are, as they claim, corrupt?

The clear alternative is that the elections are honest and fair, that the Trumpers are liars and scumbags.

Unlike Trumpys, it seems voters want America to continue. The people who think the only honest election is one they won, are almost all gone.

My 2nd wife's daughter married a guy from Michigan!.

I liked the man, but he was racist as all hell, always using the N-word.

I asked why he was so angry, He said, "Hey, I grew up in Michigan"!

I met his parents at a family get-together at my house as a welcome to the family and Dallas after they moved here, and they were as racist as he was, and his step-father was one of the most hateful White men I ever knew.

His step-dad got drunk and started talking politics, got up and started threatening me, called me a nigger-lover, and home wrecker, and said he didn't see what my wife saw in me. I had just met the man an hour earlier.

I had just gone through a world-wide lay-off at Texas Instruments. The man got angry when I told him I was a Democrat, and I asked him to not discuss politics at our family event. He had the nerve to tell me as a guest in my home, "If you were any good at what you were doing they wouldn't have fired you"!

I said, that's it, YOU NEED TO LEAVE!

He left with my step-Daughter and my son-in law, and my step-daughter refused to ever come around me again, and it created a divide in our family. My 12 year marriage never recovered after that and ended in a divorce a few months later.


I came home from work one day, and I noticed all my wife's things were missing. I found a note that said, "I love you but, I love my daughter and my Grand baby too, and I must be with them now"!

Never saw or heard from her again! I never even trued to contact her! I figured if she never came back or called, we didn't have anything much anyway! Before hre daughter tried to separate us, we had never even had an argument, and I thought our marriage was great!

But nobody talks to me in my own home like that! Someone who didn't know a fucking thing about me that I just met.

Several elections are so close they will be decided by a few hundred votes out of hundreds of thousands of votes.

The Boebert-Frisch election is one example:

Lauren Boebert (R) 50.2% 162,040 votes

Adam Frisch (D) 49.8% 160,918 votes


Another election is the Walker-Warnock Senate election, which has been forced into a runoff election on December 6th. Out of millions of votes, the top two contenders are separated by a margin of 0.9%. A key factor in this election is the 2.1% of votes that were given to the Libertarian candidate:
Raphael Warnock (D) 49.4% 1,941,511

Herschel Walker (R) 48.5% 1,906,261

Chase Oliver (L) 2.1% 81,175

It's unlikely that those who voted for Warnock or Walker will switch votes. Either people who didn't vote before will vote in the runoff (or not) or some of the 2.1% will switch their votes to either Team Normal or Team Crazy.

In both cases, the partisan votes are set and based solely on turnout while the Independent voters will be the ones who often pick the winner.

Although the data is still being analyzed, it appears that in the majority of elections, many Trumpers/Republicans stayed home, more Democrats turned out and more Independents voted for Team Normal.

In all cases, it should be clear to all Americans that your vote does count, especially in states where an election goes to a runoff if neither candidate garners over 50% of the vote.

Also note the importance of Independent voters compared to the whackjob partisans in either major party. It's one reason why Oz tried to moderate his message away from Team Crazy but it was too little, too late.
