It is identical. A mail-in is sent to the proper precinct, which is on the envelope. They also have drop-off boxes near the election commission. When a mail-in is counted the first act is to check the signature. Onc received and the signature is accepted, the vote goes through an identical process. Do you guys think a ballot with a name not in the logbook is counted? Hell no it is flagged. Do you think if a bunch with the same name are dropped off they are all counted? Of course not, they are flagged. The standards are the same. Cheating is just as difficult. Mail-ins sent to everyone are not all used. However, they are sent to people who voted in the last election, not random people. But if someone got ahold of them, they could not use them. The voter will vote in person or use the mail-in ballot. He cannot do both. HIS NAME IS MARKED VOTED AFTER THE FIRST ONE IS accepted. We have a simple and safe system.
