Apparently there are still some outstanding absentee/mail-in ballots left to be counted. It could go either way. If they're from service people stationed overseas, good for Boebert. If not, the (D) guy may very well win.

The Republican leadership seems to be turning on Trump as a has-been. I'm betting Trump is too much of a wuss to risk losing so he won't announce his candidacy next week. I truly hope he does just to see him burned to the ground, but I strongly doubt he will....because he's a coward.

We voted by mail in 2020; in person this time. I much prefer the luxury of being able to look at the ballot, which was a long one this time even for our little area, at home. I can look up the unfamiliar names and read about them before deciding. I can look at the propositions/proposals and read about them as well, pro and con. That's why Dems prefer to vote by mail. We want to make well-reasoned choices. Mail-in voting is also wonderful for people who work on Tuesdays, which is most everyone but us retirees.

It's a sad commentary on the Republican Party that they have taken a stand against making voting easier and more available to working folk.

Wow, when the conservative rag mags turn against you, your goose just might be cooked! I noticed a headline on The Globe, another supermarket check-out lane rag mag, yesterday. It was a massive put down of Trump and accused him of alienating his family, who (according to the rag mag) is distancing itself from him. The Enquirer though was of course focused on Biden, as always.

Agreed. Fox News started talking about it on Election Day and then leaned in on it Wednesday.

Trump, being Trump, will end up screwing himself by trying to blame McCarthy and sabotage his quest for Speaker. Trump will find fault with everyone but himself.
