Sometime next year, after an interval of performative investigations, Republicans in the House are going to impeach Joe Biden. This may not be their present plan, but they will work themselves up to it by degrees. The pressure from the MAGA base will build. A triggering event will burst all restraints. Eventually, Republicans will leave themselves little choice.

This prediction rests, of course, on the assumption that Republicans will win control of the House next month, which appears likely: Democrats would need to win an improbable number of toss-up races to keep their majority. And an impeachment resolution requires just a simple majority to pass the House.

How is that a good point for impeaching Biden? President's aren't impeached because of the ineffectiveness of their political party. They can't even be impeached for being a lame dumbass. That's what the 25th Amendment is for.

The precedent is set.

Every president from the opposite party of the speaker will probably be impeached from here on.

The Clinton impeachment was pure bullshit.
Both Trump impeachments should have resulted in convictions.
But the merits seem to be completely irrelevant, anyway.

We're not a stable nation.

This is just how it has to work in a hatred-laden, polarized nation like America.

We'll pay the price of not partitioning unless or until we actually do.

Right, most logical conclusion will be that the GOP will f*ck up Congress with their investigations as they did in 2010 thereby insuring another term for a Democrat President in 2024

Well, lets project here. Biden and his family dealings are crooked as fuck. I can gaurentee almost all in Congress know that on both sides. When the chips start falling you know Biden has no loyalty to anyone. He will try and drag down others. Obviously that is when politicians do their best work. You help me, I will keep quiet about something. It sucks but it has always been that way.
