The results of the midterms may determine if American democracy endures

Things that we swore couldn't happen here have already happened. You are a fool if you don't believe it will get worse. When people are rounded up and carted away in the middle of the night, some will realize the horrible mistake they made. Others, like Stone, will applaud seeing their political enemies jailed and executed, because he really is a Nazi. Eventually, they will come for enough people that the rest will toss them out on their asses. The arc of history is long, but it bends towards justice. But we are about to go over the cliff. I think it's over.

Paranoia.

all the polls seem to indicate it will.....it appears even in New York and Oregon governor races, democracy may endure......

Neither New York nor Oregon are not democracies and never were.

New York is currently an oligarchy, and it's government has utterly rejected the Constitution of the United States and the constitution of the State of New York.
Oregon is still currently a republic, but it's moving toward becoming yet another oligarchy.

One party rule?

Interesting concept of "democracy."

So you admit that one party rule (currently by Democrats) is something other than democracy. You are right. It's an oligarchy.
Conservatives don't want one party rule. They want to restore the Constitution of the United States as the rule of law.

The Pee Wee fallacy.
