Moving to Mexico!?

You are accusing me of lying with no evidence, I find that distasteful.

I did not ask him, because we were in mixed company, and I was being polite and avoiding a political discussion in that situation.

I am telling you that this story lacks the depth that reality, or even credibility, tends to lend a story, it is difficult to suspend the disbelief when we start with a character (random "Trumpper" relative) with no depth who immediately begins to act out of character from the description (wants to give up on America so he wants to move to a third world country with no 2nd Amendment and corruption in the government), even before one sentence escaped from the mind onto the keyboard we've been asked to suspend disbelief and then, as if someone has writer's block, we are suddenly asked to provide the motivation for this out of character action for a relative of yours which we still have no more description than he's your relative and he's a "Trumpper".

Anyway, he's supposedly your relative, you see relatives in more than one situation. We eagerly await the compelling reasons you will provide us after asking your "Trumpper" relative the questions you wanted answered by us.

So you claim. We still know nothing else about this person. Maybe he’s originally from Mexico and is going back to be with family. There could be many different reasons. Why not ask the guy himself instead of a bunch of people who don’t know him?

He’s from Reading PA, he’s also not the only Trunpper I know saying he’s leaving.

Love all 4 of those states.

CA is more like a diverse country. Large, has ski resorts, desert, mountains, ocean. Fabulously wealthy, third world poor w/ high crime. Boston is boring as can be unless you like looking at Revolution War sites and where Paul Revere lived.
NYC - ya gotta like a crowded place, rest of NY I don't know about. Conn. - boooring! Nothing there really. Unless you get a kick out of gawking at Audrey Hepburn's mansion in Old Saybrook.
New Mexico is one of my favorites. Along w/ AK and HI. A sleeper for me was Kansas. Lived in Manhattan, KS for about a year. Good people, low to no crime. Laid back. (Low crime is important to me. I know for American libs, they embrace high crime, especially the violent type.)

We have the 2nd Amendment AND corruption in our government. We're a double-threat, baby!

I'm sure that you do. I've lived in all of them except California. They have the least freedom in all of the US...

I don't "feel less free" in California. I was just there on my way down. CA's also the world's 5th largest economy. You really show your wing nut paranoia and ignorance when you say shit like you just did.

Oh! Also, marijuana is legal. I feel more "free" in California than I do Oklahoma, that's for sure. Plus, when you're in OK, make sure you're always near something to hold on to. If the rednecks don't shoot you, the fracking earthquakes will get you!

"you don't feel free". Such a dick statement.

Typical lib and his feels. :rofl2:

Ok. And what? People leave San Francisco all the time. If I'm curious why should I ask them or people on this board?

Is it liberals who claim they are leaving because its becoming too conservative? Are they going to a more Conservative place?

I spoke with the guy this morning as I picked up his daughter for school, he now claims he never said he hates America and never said he was leaving.

I guess he had had a couple drinks when he claimed it, but at the time he thought he was making a point.

I think your garden variety Republican surreptitiously loves democratic socialism, they just don't want the 'criminal and lazy' dark skinned minorities to be offered it.

I think that explains why a lot of conservatives have a grudging respect (some even dream of moving there) for liberal social welfare states like Portugal, Germany, New Zealand.

I agree, they would like it for themselves and their grandmothers.... but not for those outsiders. Some people are like that.

Scandinavians are not less racist than us, they simply have a less ethnically diverse community so for those in their community who are like our racists, sharing is easier.

I don't have the slightest desire to live in a politically and socially conservative country.

The best evidence we have that liberal social welfare states are humanity's most successful socio-economic model is that even conservatives dream of living in Portugal, Germany, New Zealand, et al.
