Oz vs. Fetterman (Lurch) debate

:rofl2: So believable. An obese schlump with horrible eating habits who almost died from Covid.

"Donald Trump's personal physician released a statement on the GOP presidential candidate's medical history on Monday, declaring that the real estate magnate would "be the healthiest" president ever.

"If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency," said Dr. Harold N. Bornstein, a gastroenterologist from Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.

The full letter is written in true Trumpian fashion, full of hyperbole and boasting of greatness. Bornstein calls Trump's blood pressure "astonishingly excellent" and Trump says in his own statement he was "fortunate to have been blessed with great genes." The physician also says Trump has "no history of ever using alcohol or tobacco products."
Trump recovered from a stronger variety of COVID faster than Biden did from a weaker form of COVID. Plus Biden was vaccinated at least 3 times and received Paxlovid not available when Trump had COVID.

As a President Trump released the results of a Montreal Cognitive Assessment. You will never see them release the results of a cognitive exam for Biden because there is no way he would pass one.

The man flip flopped on Fracking and wants to release dangerous criminal from prison. He needs to go home and focus on healing.

!!! Oz flipped on fracking and you're ignoring it.

"[Oz] also appeared to be a strong opponent of fracking, warning his readers in multiple articles about the potential health risks associated with one of the more controversial fossil fuel extracting technologies."

trump got top of the line treatment for Covid; Biden did not.

Sorry, the MCA is not the final say on cognitive functioning. It's just the starting point.

I just showed you that he did not live off his parents' wealth for decades and here you are, again repeating the lie.
Abortion is not a government issue... not federal, state or local. It's a woman's right.
You don't live in PA and you really have no idea what he's done here. Everything you write about him comes straight from Dr. Slick's TV ads.
Both candidates made contradicting comments about fracking but you ignored what Slick said.

Yea, sure...

Fetterman’s father, Karl, is a successful businessman and founder/owner of Kling Insurance in Pennsylvania. Not only did Fetterman grow up in the wealthy suburb of York, Pa., his parents financially supported him and his family for the entire 13 years he was mayor of Braddock — a part-time job that paid him just $150 a year — until he was sworn in as lieutenant governor in 2019 at the age of 49. In 2015 alone, his parents paid him a $54,000 salary.

He lives with his wife, Gisele, and their three children, in a spacious Braddock loft that his sister purchased for $70,000 and then handed over to Fetterman for just $1.

John Fetterman’s parents gave him money into his 40s.

It's a definition and doesn't say that Fetterman has Wernicke's aphasia.

"While neurological experts said they could not offer a specific diagnosis about Fetterman’s health, they noted that closed captions are a common tool for people with auditory processing or hearing issues, conditions which have nothing to do with overall intelligence.

“This is not an issue of intelligence, it’s not an issue of cognition, but unfortunately how we get information in and out tends to impact how people perceive that,” said Brooke Hatfield, an associate director for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Importantly, aphasia does not affect intelligence, decision-making, planning or other cognitive functions in the brain, experts said. And it can be treated and improved over time through therapy."

You will note I said "apparently". When you can't understand the spoken word it is by definition Wernicke's aphasia.

Fetterman also has both atrial fibrillation and cardiomyopathy, and a AV cardiac pacemaker. He is very unhealthy.

Biden’s position changed on abortion in 2007, he didn’t change to run for office as did Oz.

What Biden did was pretend to be a moderate who would work night and day to bring America back together after Trump, when in reality he had already signed up/sold out to front a extremely radical leftist revolution which fully intends to put a knife through the Constitution, killing it finally, their dream for decades.

Biden is still a moderate and he would gladly work with the other side if they were willing to compromise, but they have determined to block everything.

"Oz's position on abortion has evolved over the years. In 2019, he defended Roe v. Wade, saying that as a physician he had personally witnessed women who suffered "really traumatic events" from undergoing illegal, "coat-hanger" abortions." Running in the GOP primary, however, Oz pivoted to calling abortion "murder." And on Tuesday, he argued his opponent would "allow abortion at 38 weeks, on the delivery table" (such abortions are usually a result of fetal abnormalities being detected or the need to protect the life of the mother; 99% of abortions occur before 21 weeks)."

"As a celebrity TV doctor, Mehmet Oz used his platform to spread awareness of how climate change is harming public health by fueling extreme heat, wildfires, floods and infectious-disease outbreaks. But as a Republican candidate for a Senate seat in Pennsylvania, a key battleground in the fight for control of Congress, Oz is now denying the scientific consensus on climate change and downplaying the dangers of Earth's rapid warming.

While climate change has not emerged as a top issue in the contest between Oz andhis Democratic rival, John Fetterman, it is nonetheless highlighting the shifting environmental stances of Oz, who is a medical doctor, not a climate scientist."

Fetterman's doctors say he does not have aphasia, that as a side effect of the stroke he has an auditory processing disorder. It's a hearing disorder, not an intelligence deficit. Why didn't you know this, "doc?"

Auditory processing disorder (APD) is a hearing condition in which your brain has a problem processing sounds. This can affect how you understand speech and other sounds in your environment. For example, the question, “What color is the couch?” may be heard as “What color is the cow?”

Sorry, I don't take RW rags seriously so you have only one article with this story.

You're not sorry, you're pathetic. So, your weasel out is a logical fallacy of ad hominem attacking the sources rather than content? How lame. I regularly go to and cite radical Leftist nutgoober sites like Slate and Vox. Hell, I even watch conspiracy theorist wackjobs like The Young Turks or MSNBC. I'm not afraid to use radical, crazies on the Left sites because I look at content, not who they are.

I usually don't cite them because they are lunatics, but at least if I'm going to refute them because you chose to use them, I will do it on the basis of content not the source itself.
