As one of Trump's aides pointed out: if Nancy et al. were to promise to TELEVISE the deposition he'd gladly do it because he is incapable of passing up any public appearance. Sure he's come across as a deranged loser but HE wouldn't see it that way. He'd see another great example of people wanting to see him and pay attention to him.

At the end of the day Trump believes in NOTHING BUT TRUMP. Any view of Trump is a view and hence a good thing in his book. He is a broken and empty vessel of a human being. A wasted life of privilege and money without content.

I recall reading somewhere recently that he thinks of Ivanka's husband Jarod as wimpy and effeminate. I always wondered if that was part of Jared's attraction for her -- he wasn't a grossly fake-macho poseur like her father.

The footage that was just released from 1/6 really shows Nancy in a different light. She was tough, decisive and such a leader that day. It stood in stark contrast to Trump, who watched for 3 hours without doing anything, and had to be convinced to include "peaceful" in a tweet.
