First, be aware there is actually a snake oil. It is gathered from an water snake and is used as an ointment in China. It is not claimed to cure any disease or ailment.

In the West, where 'snake oil' refers to a fraudulent medicine, the snake oil salesmen were just in it for themselves and their own personal gain.
The Church of Covid is in it for the religion of it. Some are in it for personal gain, like Pfizer and Dr(?) Fauci.

The Church of Covid's scripture creates two fallacies, which are related to each other. It teaches mandated mask wearing and mandated vaccinations using a 'vaccine' that isn't a vaccine, and has been shown to be completely ineffective, other than the serious health risks the 'vaccination' entails.

Wearing masks for long periods of time is also a health risk. Masks can and do harbor bacteria and fungi. Wearing them longer than a couple of hours is not recommended. They are designed for people doing dusty work. They won't stop a virus at all.

The two paradoxes in common use at the Church of Covid are:

Paradox M:
1) I wear a mask to protect myself from covid19.
2) I demand you wear a mask because mine doesn't work.

Paradox V:
1) I get a vaccination to protect myself from covid19.
2) I demand you get a vaccination because mine doesn't work.

Lately, since people have tired of the masks and few are wearing them anymore (except for the virtue signalers and the hypochondriac paranoid), the Church of Global Warming has been concentrating on Paradox V.
