Just what the fuck are the republicans going to do to cure inflation? They can't, they won't. Inflation and recessions come and go, they always have, they always will. Republicans have never cured them. Bush presided over the worst recession in this countries history, he was a republican? The entire world is going through inflation right now did Biden cause that?
It should not make any difference what the problems are that the voters think are important, it's which ones can they fix. Republicans can't fix the economy, Democrats can restore women's rights. Hopefully the spike in women registering to vote is enough.

true.....inflation came in the 70s when Carter had oil production problems and had no clue how to solve them.......problems in the ME and with Russia and China....it went when we got rid of him
now the same thing is happening with Biden and it came again.....the first thing we have to do is resume domestic production and never again put someone in office who has promised to bankrupt the petroleum industry.......

Why not blame Carter? The fact is that Clinton Era mortgages could not fail 8 to 16 years later, because they were for much less than the houses were worth. It was Bush's "ownership society" that pushed mortgages to unrealistic heights.
And before you start blaming Carter, realize that Carter Era mortgages barely existed 28 to 32 years later. Yes, sure technically there might have been a few Carter Era mortgages with two years left, but they were for so little that they could not fail.

Almost all the worst mortgages bypassed the banks. Bush tried to override the banks who he thought were too timid.
