Right now, there are a lot of State investigations into Trump's crimes. The Feds will wait until they are complete before moving. There's also all the investigations and prosecutions of Trump staffers to consider. Prosecute them first, then get them to roll on Trump for lighter sentences.

The investigation and trials will continue past the November 2024 election. I suspect the thousands of violent criminals who attacked the Capitol on 1/6 and those who were waiting to attack outside the magnetometers will be hunted down and prosecuted for the next decade or more.

All the members of the WSE militias who participated in the planning and support of 1/6 will be prosecuted. IMO, there is at least one of them on JPP and probably a couple more.
