NEW YORK, Oct 20 (Reuters) - Donald Trump's family company is set to face a criminal trial on tax fraud charges in New York starting next week that could trigger fines and further complicate the real estate firm's ability to do business as the former U.S. president's legal woes mount.

The Manhattan district attorney's office in July 2021 charged the Trump Organization and its then-chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg with defrauding tax authorities by awarding "off the books" benefits to company executives since 2005, allowing certain employees to understate their taxable compensation and enabling the company to evade payroll taxes.

Does anyone remember when Trump said he has been under audit from the IRS for 20 years, and that is the excuse he used for not showing his taxes- EVEN THOUGH EVERY PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES PUT THEIR TAXES OUT THERE FOR PUBLIC VIEW? I DO REMEMBER It!!

Does, anyone remember when Trump said, "Only a sucker pays his taxes"? I DO REMEMBER HIM SAYING THAT!!

Well, where does this audit stand? Was it even true? Has Trump been getting a free pass?

If TRUMP lied about his local taxes and cheated the system, WHAT MAKES ANYONE THINK HE WOULD BE HONEST WITH PAYING HIS STATE TAXES OR HIS FEDERAL INCOME TAXES?

But, I have not heard anything official from The STATE OF NEW YORK or THE STATE OF FLORIDA- OR ANY OTHER STATE WHERE TRUMP OWNS PROPERTIES, OR THE INTERNAL REVENUE as to whether he is under investigation for Tax Fraud and TAX EVASION!

What the fuck is going on there?

GOD DAMN! IS SOMEBODY BEING PAID TO LOOK THE OTHER WAY AND SAY NOTHING, OR COOKING THE BOOKS, IN THESE STATES AND IRS.

LET'S DEMAND SOME ANSWERS FROM THE STATES OF FLORIDA AND NEW YORK AND OTHER STATES WHERE TRUMP OWNS PROPERTIES- AND THE INTERNAL REVENUE FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE PEOPLE!

Investigations of tax fraud are usually not released to the public so unless Trump is indicted or releases the information himself you will probably never know. The NY AG has said that she is forwarding all the information she has to the IRS and the NYC DA. While it is frustrating when you think someone has committed a crime and they are not being charged, people aren't indicted because of public opinion. They are only supposed to be indicted if there is a good chance of conviction which means the evidence should be beyond a reasonable doubt. (A rule John Durham seems to have violated.)
 
Your 401 is trash, heating oil and natural gas prices have doubled, food is up 30%, and some products much more, empty shelves due to supply chain issues, crime rates soaring, homelessness in every major city, war probability pressures mounting daily, and you fucking idiots are fretting over Trump?
