Standby for the alternative. Russia needs to sell their oil to someone. Look at Europe and NATO give Russia just enough to keep the country on life support while supplying the world with their oil. If they want to survive as a going concern, they'll meet NATO's lowest price for $/barrel.

So, why was Liz Truss's term so short? She and her party thought trickle-down economics would work. She implemented billions in unfunded tax cuts and guess what? It didn't work.

Republicans in America do the same thing. They do it over and over again and expected a different result.
