The main take away from the agent's report is sympathy within the agency for the Jan. 6 rioters. But there is also this incisive comment:

"The writer recounted “literally” having to “explain” to a fellow agent the difference between “opportunists burning and looting during [Black Lives Matter] protests that stemmed [from] legitimate grievance to police brutality vs. an insurgent mob whose purpose was to the execution of democratic processes at the behest of a sitting president. One is a smattering of criminals; the other is an organized group of domestic terrorists,” the message added."

A related take away is racism within the agency:

"The divide on law and order enforcement — often impacted by racism — is so pronounced in the bureau that the email author claimed Black agents were afraid to join SWAT teams for fear their co-workers would not protect them."

Yeah, I've tried to explain the same thing to JPP twumptards here. They won't get off their narrative that Democrats are somehow responsible for cops killing unarmed black people.

Trump profits from having half intelligent followers like yourself, rich Earl.

The expiring President was careful to restrict that "peaceful" command to the "march". Otherwise his insurrectionists might have been stopped before they got where they were going. So peaceful on the march they were. It was after the march that, as planned, all hell broke loose.

Trump limited his "peaceful" admonition to the walk to the Capitol, as I said, and this should be obvious to you from the reports you've read but chosen to misrepresent. For hours after the march concluded he sat and watched the insurrection on TV, ignoring pleas to intervene. Look again at your quoted "urgings" and then tell us at what times he made them. If he's indicted in connection with the insurrection, his silence during it will be a causative factor.

I guess I have to preface this with the obligatory "no one wanted to see that riot take place, and no one wants to ever see (the necessity for) it's like again". Having said that, as time passes my sympathy for those "domestic terrorists" grows exponentially. This country was BORN of a bloody revolution against a tyrannical monarchy, and the founders put in place contingencies against that happening again. You're treating that capitol building like it's some kind of sacred temple, and the jackasses that "work" there are the high priests and priestesses of some religion that's been perverted down through the ages. If your fucked up government keeps trying to pull the shit they've been trying for the past 6 years, I would say there will be a point when 1/6/21 looks like a garden party. There is precedence.

One of them appeared on Fox last night using his real name. The guy sounds like a legitimate whistle blower. Something you lefties need to come up with real quick.
