One flaw in what you say....according to American law, once your feet hits the shores, you have rights (that stuff emblazoned on the Statue of Liberty and all that). So you have to be properly vetted (illegal, migrant, asylum seeker) before you're "shipped" anywhere.

America has show it's disparities in this matter. See how Haitians, Cubans, former Soviet Bloc folk, South Americans have been treated over the years.

A large part which can be attributed to Abbott refusing to notify the City when and where the refugees are coming even though Adams has requested such a numerous times. Not easy to prepare and accommodate large numbers of people when you know when they are arriving let alone being in the blind as to when or even where inside NYC they are being left off
