You'll deny that you supported Trump

Trump support is like support for the Iraq War. At the time of that war, people like me were branded "traitors" for opposing the invasion, by many. And most of those same people ended up saying they "didn't really" support the war, and even outright said that they opposed it.

Being anti-war was like being at Woodstock. Years later, everyone was there.

And so it will be with Trump. Starting w/ the 1/6 hearings, we're going to learn more & more about just how dangerous this man has been to America, and to democracy. We'll get to a point in a year or so where only the most deluded will still proclaim support for him. And in about a decade, it will be almost impossible to find someone who will admit that they supported him.

Just wanted to get a thread on here so I could bump it years down the line. Wish I had that w/ Iraq. It's challenging being right all the time.

The GOP knows their supporters are stupid and have short memories. Look at all the Senators and congressmen who said they were "done with trump" after 1/6. Then they all went crawling back to him like the criminal, cowardly bitches they all are.

Yes

This will be true

Many will be dead

Old people tend to like him

Old people tend to die

And we’re often taught to be racists as children in this nation back in the day

Rubbish The 1/6 "investigation" will be a shameful smear on our government. It is a political show trial worthy of the Kremlin.

Did you support the invasion of Iraq?

Trump tried to overturn an American election. He supported a coup attempt. And he's your frontrunner for '24.

98% of you idiot lefties just need to blow me...........I posted my support for gary johnson for 2016 and jo jorgensen for 2020, but your attention span is so handicapped that you refuse to remember any of that, so you label anyone that doesn't fall in line with you as a trump supporter and make the moronic claims in the OP.

fuck all y'all

People dont generally deny that they support the war, they say that we were betrayed by our leaders,

Methinks though doth...well, you know the rest. You weren't named in the OP. Quite an odd response.

shut up, idiot. you know what you do. it's completely intentional because you're just a bunch of fucking sheep doing the DNCs bidding.

I never lump you in w/ the Trumpers. I know you're independent/libertarian.

It's kind of funny that you complain about that - but ALWAYS lump me in w/ the lefties and DNC.

No irony there?

And ad hom after ad hom. Cripes.

Can't people discuss things civilly here?

I posted the truth. And I plan to bump this thread if the board is still around.

To each his own of course but as one who has spent far too many years on this board my I recommend not saying to yourself that you’ll still be posting here years from now.

if that were the case, and if you'd retained any post history here, you'd also know that nearly all of the leftists here DO lump me in with the trumpers.............so you'll just have to forgive me that i'm annoyed as all hell about that bullshit

It's kind of funny

Sorry, cawacko - I meant to "thank" that post. I do agree w/ the general sentiment. I was kind of saying that facetiously in the OP (to myself) - it's a little depressing to think I'd still be here years from now, but who knows.

And STY, for some reason, I can't thank your post, but appreciate that last response. I don't intentionally try to antagonize people here - I know that's what a lot of people who post on boards do, kind of getting their ya ya's out and all that. I don't judge that, but it's not what I try to do here.
