"The Revolution," lets try it, just for laughs, who the f*ck specifically is "The Revolution?"
And "those guys," "deep state," "globalists," "them," etc, isn't being specific
They know that jobs will be hammered and they are fine with that. The workers will pay for this fight against inflation that our leaders caused by making too many dollars.
No single economic indicator tells the whole story, but if you want to frame the narrative, you just completely ignore any clashing information. I don't think you'll find most media ignoring the report, or inflation in general, but I can't say the same for the right leaning sources
And you are looking for an interpretation of the numbers, which again, most media will include, others, as those mentioned, will not if they don't even bring them up
It won't distract the Fed from raising interest rates, in fact, could encourage that they could be on the right track, increasing rates while not effecting hiring implying less of a toll on production
It is your responsibility to learn my vocabulary.
The Revolution is the WOKE, the Bus Drivers to UTOPIA...we are being taken there without our consent because all of those lectures over all of those decades about consent and transparancy were Bull Shit.
I'm not exactly sure what you want done. Every Republican running for office should put out an ad saying 263K jobs gained in September, vote for your current Congressman or Senator?
Jobs are great and important and clearly people would rather have one than not, but if inflation and other costs are making your poorer a lower unemployment rate isn't something you are going to pop a champagne bottle over.
I don't want anything, rather just pointing out the reality, the right wing media won't even recognize the report, ruins the narrative, the same narrative those "every Republican running for office" will echo
And the funny thing about that narrative on inflation as armageddon, and I am not saying inflation isn't have an effect on people's lives, however, I don't see F150 sales going down, sporting events crowds shrinking, bread lines forming, soup kitchens on every corner, vacation resorts closing, holiday travel shrining, etc., in fact, the very people who are effected the most by inflation is the very population the GOP is concerned about the least
I have certain right wing people/outlets I follow and I've seen the jobs number mentioned but I can't claim to follow them all. And I'm not sure what narrative it destroys.
Even during recessions the world does continue to go on. People aren't just going to whole up and not live but for those for whom money is more scarce they have to make choices and cut back. I seen people here try to argue inflation is just a figment of the media as if people don't see higher prices when they go to the store, gas station etc. If polling is to be believed/accurate Pew Research says inflation is the number one issue for voters.
I'm repeating myself here but jobs are important, no question. But if you feel poorer you probably aren't in a celebratory mood.
This one really cracks one up, for the eight years of Obama all we heard from the right was Labor Participation Rates, and yet, when Trump ascended, nothing, it was as if Labor Participation Rates vanished, and yet now, with another Democrat in the White House, the LPR variable has resurfaced, too funny
Sure the world continues on, and inflation does take its toll, but at the same time, it doesn't appear to the armageddon that many, largely on the right, are portraying it as 24/7.
An as far as it being the number one concern of voters, of course it is, just like crime, the media is telling them it is, easy to demogogue the complex
"The Revolution," lets try it, just for laughs, who the f*ck specifically is "The Revolution?"
And "those guys," "deep state," "globalists," "them," etc, isn't being specific
30,000 jobs lost with layoffs, which are continuing...
It's funny that the instant reaction of some on the right is to downplay it.
New jobs is good news any ol' time. Trump was the worst jobs President in modern history. It's just good to be back on track.
LABOR {PARTICIPATION RATE: 2019 - 63.6%
2022 61.6%
MILLIONS FEWER AMERICANS WORKING UNDER BIDEN THAN TRUMP.
Bureau of Labor Statistics:Your response is just ad hominem. I have consistently used the labor participation rate when talking about employment.
Only working age persons are included in the labor participation rate. So, the age stratification of the labor force really makes no difference. Retired persons aren't included in the calculation nor are unpaid volunteers and those who are 'homemakers' in self-service.
The reason it is lower is because more people are opting out of work.
One reason fewer people are opting to work is more have found a way to make themselves count as "disabled." The ADA has made disability into a cottage industry and in the roughly last two decades the number of disabled Americans has risen from about 12% of the population to 19%.
The Revolution is deeply hostile towards entrepreneurs, and will continue to come after them hard. Hammering these types was a lot of what the COVID martial laws were about.
Bureau of Labor Statistics:
The labor force participation rate represents the number of people in the labor force as a percentage of the civilian noninstitutional population. In other words, the participation rate is the percentage of the population that is either working or actively looking for work. Bureau of Labor Statistics:
The labor force participation rate is calculated as: (Labor Force ÷ Civilian Noninstitutional Population) x 100.
