Herschel Walker‘s campaign was delivered two big surprises, Herschel‘s son‘s Christian Walker wrote on Twitter that his mom and himself had to move six times in six months due to threats of domestic violence from his dad.

There is also a woman who has come forward with receipts claiming she had an abortion in 2009 that Walker paid for her to have. Walker claims to be against abortion no exceptions.

It seems he’s cancelled his debate with Warnock as well.

Given those kind of problems, he would never be allowed to be a Democratic nominee for US Senate, and quite possibly run out of the party.
 
I feel if someone chickens out of a debate, the debate should be held anyway, with the one candidate who isn't chicken making themselves available for a Q and A.

Write down a list of modern examples (aka, don't time travel back five decades) of major Democratic nominees for US Senate or President who had serious and sustained allegations of violence and threats against a spouse or GF, and still continued to receive party support.

It wont have much affect, he is already a terribly flawed candidate and if anyone was already voting for him, he could have paid for 10,000 abortions and performed them himself and they would not care, if you are voting for him, you are just playing the R v D game.

My question was Senate and presidential nominees. The filter and expectations for those kind of candidates is much higher.

There are enough sleazebags in this country that any number of them can sneak into the house of representatives, city councils, and school boards.
