I have stopped 9 fights from ever happening by The Sleeper Hold. You lay them down and then move everybody away from them and leave them be 'til they wake up.
Most won't still want to fight when they wake up, some you can even still party on with. Some will, and that's a problem. Take it as it comes.
I tell ya what: Putting someone to sleep is a lot better than breaking their jaw or fracturing their skull. This is something I know to be fact.
That's the only other 2 ways I know of for stopping a fight. If there's another way I'd surely love to learn it.
Temple shots don't always crack a skull, but they're dangerous, IMO.
Broken bones take a while to heal.

8 out of 10 guys I grew up with went to prison. I didn't. I know when to hold and when to fold.
Like 1 time ( and I was talking about this tonight with a friend) I got arrested for trying to help an alleged friend escape a sheriff.
We were driving back home that night for about 60 miles and he was driving and I was a passenger.
He was in shape, supposedly.. And he was driving and we got pulled over and he lights out with a fat cop that is not a runner chasing him. I saw which way he went, so I slid over to driver's seat, fired up the truck and pulled around the corner to meet him on the other side.
Problem is, that guy gave up to the fat cop and I'm over there calling around for him around the corner and the fat cop done radioed his buddies and they pull up behind me.
I'm toast! They gave me 7 tickets and took me to jail. Nothing really ever came of it, though. I think I had to attend Defensive Driving school.
I did a day or 2 in a foreign county jail and had to pay some fines and do defensive driving school.
Lucky they didn't kick my ass that night.
I could have just lit out for home in his vehicle and made it. We were right by the County line, too. But no, I had to go back for my boy like a dumbass.
In hindsight, that would have been a better alternative. I would not have gotten arrested and his truck would not have been impounded.
Hindsight is always 20/20 though. In the future from there, it turns out he was a real piece of shit. Should not have risked anything for that POS ever because he
would not have done it for me. I mistakenly treated him like he was a real bro.
