Election Integrity Win: Pennsylvania Rules Mail-in Voting Unconstitutional
Jan 28, 2022Three conservative judges on a five-court panel struck down Pennsylvania's 2019 expanded mail-in voting law that reportedly permitted 2.5 million people, the majority of them Democrats, to cast votes in 2020. Basing their decisions on election laws passed in 1839 and 1923, the court ruled the legislature's law unconstitutional.

PA mail in voting law upheld. PA Supreme Court. August 2022

By FiveThirtyEight Staff

From the Carolinas to California, Montana to Florida, election denialism has spread across the country. you said that every vote has been traced to a registered voter.

you said it, fucko.
:truestory:

I did say essentially that. I said drop off ballots were matched to registered voters. They were. This is what election officials do, not courts. There was no adjudicated court claim that the election officials cheated or mistakenly counted incorrectly. The claims went to the underlying legality of the drop box practice itself.

The country wouldn't have the problem with voting we have if critics like yourself knew what they are talking about.

Think this could be GOP modesty? That it’s if they win they won’t be hasty accepting their victory?

They're "MAGA trapped". In order to get past any primary, a GOP'er has to swear they believe the election was stolen and that abortion should be illegal after conception. Then, when they're running in the general the scrub their campaign websites of all election and abortion language and try to pretend they never had those positions.

GOP'ers have backed themselves into their crooked, medieval corners, the poor losers.

A dozen Republican candidates in competitive races for governor and Senate have declined to say whether they would accept the results of their contests, raising the prospect of fresh post-election chaos two years after Donald Trump refused to concede the presidency.

In a survey by The Washington Post of 19 of the most closely watched statewide races in the country, the contrast between Republican and Democratic candidates was stark. While seven GOP nominees committed to accepting the outcomes in their contests, 12 either refused to commit or declined to respond. On the Democratic side, 18 said they would accept the outcome and one did not respond to The Post’s survey.

Republicans know their ideas suck and they can't win election on their policies so their only hope to hang onto power is to claim they won, when they didn't. So evil.

"OVER 150 EXAMPLES OF DEMOCRATS DENYING ELECTION RESULTS
JUN 28, 2022

Democrats Have A Lengthy History Of Casting Doubt On Election Results
FOR DECADES, DEMOCRATS HAVE REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE RESULTS OF ELECTIONS THEY LOST

Biden and Democrats have a long history of contesting election outcomes.
Many Democrats, including Hillary Clinton and Barbra Lee (D-CA), Maxine Waters (D-CA), and Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), have cast doubt on every single Republican presidential victory in the last two decades.
Every single Democrat president since 1977 has cast doubt on the legitimacy of U.S. elections.

As recently as this year, Biden cast doubt on the legitimacy of the upcoming 2022 midterms.
DEMOCRATS CALLED THE 2000 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION “STOLEN,” “FRAUDULENT,” AND A “COUP D’ETAT”

For years, Democrats have refused to accept the results of the 2000 presidential election.
Al Gore repeatedly claimed that he was the real winner of the 2000 election.
In 2002, Gore claimed he “would have won” if every vote in Florida was counted and that he “absolutely” believed he would become president after the ordered recount.
Gore’s wife, Tipper, said that “I still believe we won.”
In 2016, Gore brought up the 2000 election during a rally for Hillary Clinton and did not refute chants from the audience saying he won.
In 2017, Gore implied Jeb Bush “may have had something” to do with him losing Florida.
Gore, in 2017: “Actually, I think I carried Florida."
Hillary Clinton, more than once, questioned the legitimacy of the 2000 election.
In 2002, Clinton said Bush had been “selected” and not elected president.
In 2016, Clinton said that the Supreme Court “took away a presidency” in Bush v. Gore.
Then-President Bill Clinton in 2001 claimed that Gore actually won the election, suggesting that all the votes in Florida were not counted and that the Supreme Court had altered the outcome.
Clinton: “The only way [Republicans] could win the election was to stop the voting in Florida.”
Former President Jimmy Carter has repeatedly denied the results of the 2000 election.
Carter, in 2005: “There is no doubt in my mind that Al Gore was elected president.” ... "

Bullshit. The hildebeast conceded right away - trump still hasn't.

They will announce in advance that if they lose it will be because the election is rigged.

The Republican Party may have served a useful purpose once; that's subject to debate.

It's a just a crime organization now, and that's simply fact.

Since LBJ, the Republican party has done nothing but fight back against race equality. The south is still pissed that slavery was outlawed.

It would probably be best if you “stolen election” people try to not hold others to some sort of “prove it” standard. You have no ground to stand on.

Their "proof" is that THEY hate Biden, so that can't believe the majority of the country does.

Nazi's can't see past their own prejudices.

It's also pretty scary that some of these election deniers with power over state presidential elections claim they're going to "fix" the fraud. So the "fix" is in with these MAGA criminals if they're elected.

Why wouldn't the 2019 law supersede the 1839 and 1923 law?

11 of the Republicans challenging the law in court were state legislators who had voted for the bill.

A little additional research shows the 1839 and 1923 law actually expanded voting rights but was struck down by the state courts.

How dare PA allow additional Democrats to vote.

It did until it was ruled unconstitutional.
