Republicans Won’t Commit to Accepting Election Results

Republicans in key battleground races refuse to say they will accept results

A dozen Republican candidates in competitive races for governor and Senate have declined to say whether they would accept the results of their contests, raising the prospect of fresh post-election chaos two years after Donald Trump refused to concede the presidency.

In a survey by The Washington Post of 19 of the most closely watched statewide races in the country, the contrast between Republican and Democratic candidates was stark. While seven GOP nominees committed to accepting the outcomes in their contests, 12 either refused to commit or declined to respond. On the Democratic side, 18 said they would accept the outcome and one did not respond to The Post’s survey.

Think this could be GOP modesty? That it’s if they win they won’t be hasty accepting their victory?

"OVER 150 EXAMPLES OF DEMOCRATS DENYING ELECTION RESULTS
JUN 28, 2022

Democrats Have A Lengthy History Of Casting Doubt On Election Results
FOR DECADES, DEMOCRATS HAVE REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE RESULTS OF ELECTIONS THEY LOST

Biden and Democrats have a long history of contesting election outcomes.
Many Democrats, including Hillary Clinton and Barbra Lee (D-CA), Maxine Waters (D-CA), and Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), have cast doubt on every single Republican presidential victory in the last two decades.
Every single Democrat president since 1977 has cast doubt on the legitimacy of U.S. elections.

As recently as this year, Biden cast doubt on the legitimacy of the upcoming 2022 midterms.
DEMOCRATS CALLED THE 2000 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION “STOLEN,” “FRAUDULENT,” AND A “COUP D’ETAT”

For years, Democrats have refused to accept the results of the 2000 presidential election.
Al Gore repeatedly claimed that he was the real winner of the 2000 election.
In 2002, Gore claimed he “would have won” if every vote in Florida was counted and that he “absolutely” believed he would become president after the ordered recount.
Gore’s wife, Tipper, said that “I still believe we won.”
In 2016, Gore brought up the 2000 election during a rally for Hillary Clinton and did not refute chants from the audience saying he won.
In 2017, Gore implied Jeb Bush “may have had something” to do with him losing Florida.
Gore, in 2017: “Actually, I think I carried Florida."
Hillary Clinton, more than once, questioned the legitimacy of the 2000 election.
In 2002, Clinton said Bush had been “selected” and not elected president.
In 2016, Clinton said that the Supreme Court “took away a presidency” in Bush v. Gore.
Then-President Bill Clinton in 2001 claimed that Gore actually won the election, suggesting that all the votes in Florida were not counted and that the Supreme Court had altered the outcome.
Clinton: “The only way [Republicans] could win the election was to stop the voting in Florida.”
Former President Jimmy Carter has repeatedly denied the results of the 2000 election.
Carter, in 2005: “There is no doubt in my mind that Al Gore was elected president.” ... "

would you commit to eating a bag of donkey dicks, right over there next to dutch uncle?

Since Trump arrived in American politics (but only after he lost) our elections have received about the same level of respect from Republicans that donkey dicks receive, you’re saying. Yeah, that’s about right.

you people are the ones who cheated with unsecure drop boxes.

is that respect? Is cheating respectful of the process?

The 2020 presidential election was stolen.

The two 2020 Senatorial elections in Georgia were stolen.

Why would we respect stolen elections, Marty?

You don't need a bag, one is enough for most people.

"You people"?

Every ballot from those boxes was matched with a registered voter. Not a single instance of apparent "double voting" occurred, which inevitably would have happened numerous times had there been fraud.

Stop whining. You started it by cheating.

no they weren't.

"No they weren't".

The blind faith behind "The Stolen Election".

We have courts where the "No, they weren'ts" can be put to the test and election officials required to show, "Yes, they were." Trumpers brought dozens of such suits and failed to prove any significant errors or fraud in the voting. The most they achieved were a couple of verdicts on technical statutory law that could have disenfranchised some innocent voters, which Trumpers would have liked just fine, but sadly from their point of view, not enough of them

election officials never showed that they matched up every vote.

judges just dismissed the case out of hand.

that's called corruption.

Election Integrity Win: Pennsylvania Rules Mail-in Voting Unconstitutional
Jan 28, 2022Three conservative judges on a five-court panel struck down Pennsylvania's 2019 expanded mail-in voting law that reportedly permitted 2.5 million people, the majority of them Democrats, to cast votes in 2020. Basing their decisions on election laws passed in 1839 and 1923, the court ruled the legislature's law unconstitutional.

Show us even one case in the history of country where election officials have been required to prove in court the individual counting of every vote. You’re a walking talking absurdity.
