A 565-foot Telecommuncations skyscraper is burning in Changsha right now. The rapidity of the fire spreading says that there was no working sprinkler system, if any, in the building, no fire doors, no fire suppression in the construction materials.

The fire was on the exterior....sprinklers and fire doors dont help with that.

But what was this built with?

In the US, they'd be forced to pay a small fine...then everyone would go out for drinks at the Blue Duck Tavern.

I understand that this is China But:

Changsha Fire and Rescue dispatched 36 fire engines and 280 firefighters to the scene, the statement said.

After a preliminary investigation, it found the outer wall of the building was on fire, it said.

And there was no problem getting everyone out it is claimed, which also indicates that the fire was originally exterior.
