Russia ready for talks. Ukraine must undergo ' denazification '

Sept 13: Ukrainian troops keep up pressure on fleeing Russian forces

Ukrainian troops piled pressure on retreating Russian forces Tuesday, pressing deeper into occupied territory and sending more Kremlin troops fleeing ahead of the counteroffensive that has inflicted a stunning blow on Moscow’s military prestige.

As the advance continued, Ukraine’s border guard services said the army took control of Vovchansk — a town just 3 kilometers (2 miles) from Russia, seized on the first day of the war. Russia acknowledged that it has withdrawn troops from areas in the northeastern region of Kharkiv in recent days.

Russian troops were also abandoning the southern city of Melitopol and heading toward Moscow-annexed Crimea, the city’s pre-occupation mayor said.

I guess that the Russians only occupy about 19% of Ukraine instead of the previous 20% , eh, bugle-blower ?

It was always predictable that the Zelenskies would throw everything they had into trying to prevent the Russians from taking Odessa. If Odessa falls then US's proxy war becomes the world's most expensive modern military failure. Apart from Vietnam and Afghanistan, of course. And maybe Iraq.

At that rate, regaining 1% of their territory a week, it will take 20 weeks for Ukraine to totally win this war. That is not a good sign for Putin.

Come back next week.

Of course, anything can happen in the future... But given there is not more equipment or troops coming for the Russians any time soon, a Ukrainian breakout is more likely then a Russian counteroffensive... So it does not look good for your hero Putin.

' my hero ', Walt ? Is this bout of childishness anything to do with your political uncertainties ? It was you, was it not, that stated that the NATO-desirous leaders of Sweden and Finland were safe at the ballot box ?
Perhaps, ' Brain in gear, then speak ' should be your future motto.
