Opinion vs. opinion.

The #1 important thing is that all traces of Trumpism are scrubbed, cleansed and flushed from our political system.

Just like after the defeat of Hitler and Nazism, there will always be die-hard hangers on, but the smaller of a minority they are, the less danger they lose to the rest of us.

Put Trump in prison and we run the risk of making a martyr and hero out of him.

The only issue I have with this post is that the 30% of Republicans that are MAGA will NEVER stop making excuses for trump.

The Qpublicans will believe any conspiracy that trump peddles.

Sounds to me like your lust for revenge "trumps" your desire for the best outcome for the country to move forward and put him and all his shit behind us.

Putting a former President on trial will be difficult enough. Getting a conviction will be even tougher.

If both manage to happen, throwing him in jail could do more harm than good.

If you have to ask how or why, you wouldn't understand anyway.

If he is guilty - fine...penalize him.

Most people who get convicted of crimes do not “help the economy, the military, help feed the poor, shelter the homeless, balance the budget”. It’s called accountability and justice.
