Legendary black film director destroys wokeness in a single minute

This is her being "woke":

Although many African-Americans have made incredible strides in educational attainment we are still lagging behind in key indicators of success such as net worth, poverty rates, high incarceration rates and, as such, have some of the highest unemployment numbers. In addition we seem to be victims of a disproportionate amount violence.

And you haven't explained how I am not aware or half asleep.

Why should I have to explain this to you? It ought to be self apparent!

She is blaming the black problem on Liberalism or the Liberal policies. That is her opinion. The "black problem" started since Nixon and Reagan. We need to undo that and we'll see the problem solved overnight. That has always been my suggestion.

Said you that didn't have a clue, I wasn't wrong.

Clue about what? You have not explained anything other than "wokeness is bad".

I suggest eliminating War on Drugs and you'll see the problem eliminated in a short time.

Wokeness, extreme political correctness or just plain old left wing agitprop. I provide you with some light reading but it's pretty clear you refuse point blank to read it.

America might finally be waking up to ‘wokeness’

The taboo around challenging "wokeness" appears to be eroding as folks like Bill Maher, Elon Musk, James Carville and Dave Chappelle now question extreme political correctness.

Is the world finally waking up to wokeness? It certainly seems that way. Or at least many are beginning to open their eyes.

The idea of wokeness began with noble intentions — to raise public consciousness about the enduring impact of racism, sexism and inequality. But, emboldened by the rise of the #MeToo and BLM movements, it quickly evolved into a severe form of political correctness, forced upon the public, with little tolerance for argument or debate.

The “woke” insisted that people of color be called “BIPOC,” artistic license be deemed “cultural appropriation,” and Latinos be referred to as the gender-neutral “LatinX” — a term few Hispanics like and almost never use. Gender itself was declared to be as elastic and expansive as possible, along with an endless array of pronouns to express every sexual identity.

Embraced by progressive politicians and enshrined in Democratic platforms, anyone who questioned — or felt mildly curious about — these commandments was mocked, ridiculed and ultimately canceled.

I read it. I even quoted part of it!

Correct. I defined it for you but the right perverted it.

What do "MeToo" and "BLM movements" have to do with it? If the accusations are real, of course they need to be investigated. The "BLM movements" is just that, letting us be aware of racism in the police force. That's all there is to it. Nothing more.

Are you being forced to use those terms or are you ridiculed if you don't use those terms?

"Commandments"? :rofl2:

I give up talking to Swillies like you.

Wake up to what? Racism still exists. Nothing's wrong with being aware of it and help. No clue why that is a bad thing for some people.

There is no such thing as religion of woke anti-racism. Two books don't cut it.

Racism was a non-issue for 40 years from 1969 to 2009. Then Obama peeled back the almost-healed scab of racism in America.

There's no doubt in my mind that you truly believe that statement.

1991 March 03 LAPD officers beat Rodney King on camera
In the first few seconds of what would become a very famous 89-second video, King is seen rising after the Taser shots and running in the direction of Officer Powell. The officers alleged that King was charging Powell, while King himself later claimed that an officer told him, “We’re going to kill you, n*****. Run!” and he tried to flee. All the arresting officers were white, along with all but one of the other two dozen or so law enforcement officers present at the scene. With the roar of a helicopter above, very few commands or remarks are audible in the video.

That was one of the few riots during that period. There were others in St. Petersburg and Miami as well.

Fast forward to 2009-2016 and There were more riots than the previous 40 years combined with exponentially more damage.

Obama is a shit-stirrer of riots.

Translation: Dammit, Dutch! You caught me in another lie!

No worries, Matt. I always forgive those who are a bit "off" as long as they are unable to hurt anyone.
