Britain's Queen Elizabeth II is "under medical supervision" because "doctors are concerned" about her health, Buckingham Palace announced Thursday.

The 96-year-old monarch has spent the summer at Balmoral Castle, the royal family's estate in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. A royal source told ABC News on Thursday that immediate family members have been informed of the current situation.

BBC Suspends Schedule As Concerns Grow Over Queen’s Health; UK Broadcasters Cut Into Programs To Relay News

The Royal Family, including the U.S.-based Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan, are traveling to her home in Scotland.

BBC news journalists and broadcasters have all changed into black clothing, which is believed to be part of Operation London Bridge, a series of protocols that dictate how the UK will respond when the Queen passes.

I hear that when a Queen is ill she experiences, "Royal" pain.

In all seriousness, I hope she gets well soon.

Just so everyone knows why I joked, I think that financing/celebrating that "Royal Family" in England is ridiculous. You should not celebrate monarchies any longer. It's no longer the 1400's.

Well, RIP and I hope she passes painlessly. I mean, this should NOT come as a shock to anyone. The poor lady's 100.

Too bad this isn't 500 years ago because you know Chuck would have killed off the old bag by now. Oh well
