IMO, most libertarians are moderate "small gov't" libertarians or 'small L' libertarians.

Gold is a commodity. I can easily convert my U.S. dollars into gold, even tho my currency is not backed by gold.

While I am for fair competition, I have to accept the fact that OIL is a national security issue.

It's not so much about taking oil, but about Gov'ts intervening to affect the price of oil.

it's the matter of externalizing all the costs onto the taxpayer and privatizing the profits.

of course there are stark realities, but accounting tricks shouldn't make citizens sacrifice their children while the profits are siphoned into private hands.

of course big goverment enables this.

but big corporation is also happy with the fascist arrangement.

No, it's purely an economic system, just look at Canada, Europe, Israel, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, and Australia....are you saying all the people in those countries own no property and are brutalized by the state?
