89% of BLACK Cook County (chicago) third graders failed state english exam

Then Earl, how can you say that African American kids are inferior?????????????

I didn’t say that, Trumper.

I posted cold, hard, statistics.

“Can you name a school district other than in minority areas that has 89% of third graders failing the state English exam?”

The red states are the lowest rated in Education. Sorry your race-hatred failed.

Education is administrated by the state. You always try to pick on one city. So pathetic.

In most states the state and local school districts administer education. Large cities will always do poorly because of the low income/educational level. Middle-class schools in those same large cities do much better.

A recent study done by the United States Census Bureau found that 27.8% of Black people 25 years and older earned a Bachelor's degree or better in 2020. While the numbers are higher for Black women over Black men, overall, it is a tremendous increase from 1940, when only 1% of Black people had completed four years of college."

All black college degrees are the result of a.) affirmative action and b.) mickey mouse majors like african studies.

Very few blacks get STEM degrees.

1. Black-americans come in last in all standardized tests. Asian-americans do fine on all the tests so it's not due to cultural bias in the tests.

2. Africa is by far the poorest and most backward continent on the planet. All of black africa is now controlled by blacks and has been for decades so it's not due to racism.

3. No black has ever won a Science Nobel Prize unless you count one in 1979 for the semi-science of economics. They have won many nobels in non-brain fields like Peace and also in Literature so it is not due to racism.

4. Out of 1725 chess grandmasters in the world, only THREE are black.

5. 50 years of affirmative action special treatment and blacks have fallen even further behind. What does that tell you?

HAHAHAHA. Now how are you gonna prove something like that?

It has been proven for years. Look at the family background (income/education/two parents, etc) and you can predict whether the school will have good or poor academic performance. A student from a lower socioeconomic home will do better attending a middle class school than a lower income school.

The Supreme Court used some of that research to strike down school segregation in Brown v. Board.

So why didn't the massive FORCED BUSSING of the 1970s 80s and 90s enable negroz to do as well in school as whites and asians?

Bussing did not change low income children who came from poor, one-parent families with low education levels. And soon, these kids were not going to school with middle-class white kids. Middle-class blacks could not buy nicer homes in the suburbs "white flight" left the cities leaving most of the big cities with only lower income kids.

Percent white school population

Chicago: 9%
New York: <10%
Houston: 9.9%
Los Angeles: 9%
St. Louis: 13%
Baltimore: 8%
Miami: 8%
New Orleans: 7%

Large city schools are more segregated today.

But that's what busing addressed. Getting black kids into white schools. It was done on a huge scale for 30 years and it didn't do a bit of good. The negro kids still failed.

We do so much to help these inferior blacks and none of it works. Welfare, affirmative action, busing. All failures.

Yes, bussing did not achieve much success. First, only a small percentage (5%) of students were involved in bussing 2) it often ended because changing housing patterns made it unnecessary and parents often opposed it. Where bussing did result in desegregated schools (Charlotte)school performance improved. But soon white flight and black middle class leaving the cities resulted in more segregation.

My original point was about class. Black students perform better in school who come from black middle-class homes; thus, environmental factors affect black performance just as they do white performance. It is not strictly genetic IQ. Blacks adopted by white higher income parents perform better.
