So in 13 years California isn't going to sell gasoline cars. California sells about 1.85 million new cars a year. 95% of those are gasoline cars. How are they going to charge those cars on a grid where they already can't make enough power with. 30% of all power in California isn't even made inside of California. California should be investing in new nuclear plants now. Nuclear plants aren't built overnight it could easily take ten years to get them on line. California will be in real trouble if they ban new gasoline cars.

It's all about control and the restriction of freedom. Wait until they install your home's new electric "smart" meter. Then they can dispense power as needed.

California is a disaster regardless. I think I heard VDH call them theoretical progressives as in they have no grasp of reality.
 
And yet... they passed a law... forcing all vehicles to be zero emission in 2035... That's going to hurt.
