Yes. Unless the blower over the range, or the exhaust fan in the bathroom is vented outside.

If someone reports someone in a neighboring apartment because of the smell of smoke, I still don't see anyone getting caught in the act.

They can always say that they blew out a candle.

This legislation might open the door for rental agreements similar to when you request a smoking room in a hotel.

If all leases deny smoking in the residences, then there might be a way to evict tenants.

Which opens another can of worms.

Boy that is slot of effort when you could just stand on the stoop


In fact if your out of cigs you could just ask any of all the others in the stood for a solid that you will catch them back next go


Sounds way more fun than buying candles



It will get by people thinking about not just popping that cig in their mouth unconsciously

Fewer lives can lost


Less second hand smoke effects on kids health


If that person has to get up and walk to the stoop


That’s more steps taken in a day


All the health effects can bring down hospital costs


Fewer burn patients from fires


Fewer times a kid with asthma has to go to the emergency room

I'm not a smoker, but you can't smoke on the stoop according to that law.

I don't even disagree, as a property owner.

I just don't see how they enforce it?

I'm a little squeamish about things done in the privacy of your own home, even if you're a renter. I can see protecting children who live there. I believe there are some smoking restrictions in cars if children are present

I understand. But how is this law enforced? 'Your house smells like smoke. Get out'

Blame it on incense
 
You can advertise it as a non smoking rental


It’s actually a plus now

People look for places that were not occupied by smokers

But as a government program they can have you sign you won’t

It means a certain amount of folks won’t smoke in it


People are more honest than you think


Most people will feel guilty doing it


And it’s designed to help the people think about their health more seriously

And the direct effect of most people being good is some good health effects that actually save money in the health realm


And fewer kids starting to mimic their parents smoking habits


It’s a win win win win situation

All those wins don’t depend on 100 percent compliance

They can have freedom if they pay their own rent 100%

But as long as I and the other taxpayers are paying their rent they live by the rules


You see ads for house for rent..that states , no smoking no pets, if caught u risk breaking the lease




Bet u are just fine with landlords banning guns in their apartment
