Two weeks, still no explanation…

Incorrect it is the prosecutions job to prove guilt at the trial. It is the investigators' job to find evidence a crime has been committed and by who. A grand jury then views the evidence and either indicts or not.

the investigators have been working for six years........how are things going for you so far?......

Hello Jarod,

Two weeks since the public learned Former president Trump took top secret documents to a storeroom at Mar-A-Lago and he still has not offered an explanation why?!?

Why did he do it?

It is something a traitor would do. It is something an enemy spy would do.

Why?

What possible purpose did he have for taking things that did not belong to him, things that are very important to the security of the United States?

They could be worth a lot of money to enemies of the USA.

This does not look good.

Why did he do it?

as I suspected, you haven't a clue about declassification.....

here, run a look over this for starters and tell us about this requirement to erase markings on the document.......
https://www.archives.gov/about/laws/appendix/12958.html

So tell us what evidence you have that the documents that Trump "declassified" were entered into the declassification database. Oh.. that's right, you don't have any evidence that any documents were declassified.

Meanwhile declassification is simply a red herring since the law does not require a document be classified to make retaining it illegal. Your argument about classification would seem to be an admission that Trump had the documents. That would mean Trump would be subject to the following:

STATUTORY AUTHORITY AND DEFINITIONS
Under 18 U.S.C. § 793 (e) , [w]hoever having unauthorized possession of, access
to , or control over any document ...or information relating to the national defense which
information the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or
to the advantage of any foreign nation, willfully communicates , delivers , transmits or causes to be
communicated, delivered, or transmitted or attempts to do or causes the same to any person not
entitled to receive it, or willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it to the officer or employee
of the United States entitled to receive it shall be fined or imprisoned not more than ten years, or
both.

Why is not important legally, but I am curious.

Hello Jarod,

N

Why is not important legally, but I am curious.

Hopefully it will be asked by the prosecution in a criminal trial against DJT.

DJT has gone too far. He has gotten away with so much that he seemed to feel the law does not apply to him. He went too far this time. This looks like espionage. That cannot be ignored.

People who want to make American great need to make darn sure America is not sold out to spies. It cannot be overlooked.

This is not locker room talk.

Information is power. That's pretty much it. It gave him stuff to bargain with for whatever.

My guess is you'll get no response to that. aka..it's his opinion.

Nice try the corruption investigations have been on going but these latest have just started.

He's trying to lump the impeachments in there, which were political not legal processes. twump's in big time, legal trouble now - a much different ball game.

Something tells him it won't go over well saying, "Because it makes me feel good thumbing through nuclear secrets while I'm sitting on the toilet".

I honestly believe the reason he stole those documents could well be simply that it makes him feel important to have them.

Hello Lurch,

Information is power. That's pretty much it. It gave him stuff to bargain with for whatever.

It is too fishy to let it go.

He's not supposed to do that.

And he wrote on some of the pages.

He's not supposed to do that either.

He is not above the law, but I don't think he understands that.

It is time for him to answer to some of his crimes.

cart before horse.....first we will need to know what documents are at issue.....as usual, you children are running ahead of yourselves.......shucks you idiots had him convicted three years ago already......yet you still haven't picked the crime......
