We would be MUCH luckier to have Trump as President again. DeSantis needs to stay as Florida Governor.
DeSantis would end up disappointing at the national level since he is now allowing the RNC club to manage him. In exchange for club money, DeSantis will have to follow club rules and club guidance. Club rules are NOT an America First economic agenda at the national level. Club rules are NOT what Trump was fighting for during his tenure. --- He will begin a national tour shortly... then someone will have a book out about him... blah blah blah...
Notice how he only put out a short rather weak tweet about the Mar-a-Lago raid on his personal twitter account (rather than his government account) and then hid in a bunker for a week (transmitting a couple of unrelated pre-recorded video messages in the meantime) and has hid from any questioning/comments about Mar-a-Lago? That's an RNC move, not a MAGA move... As I said, he's being managed now... and he is not Donald Trump.
He is being groomed by the RNC to be a "MAGA splitter candidate" in 2024, just as Ted Cruz was groomed for that role in 2016.
He is a great governor, and I'd re-elect him in a heartbeat if I were in Florida, but that doesn't mean that he is the "man for the job" with regard to President. The President needs to be outside of any RNC or DNC influence to be effective, and unfortunately it is blatantly obvious now that DeSantis is being groomed and managed by the RNC club.

The libs still haven't identified a single crime that he's committed... They've now resorted to ignoring the 4th Amendment and raiding his home on an overly generalized warrant (at best).
Trump runs very clean which is a credit to him but it will not save him, the Failed Elite Class has no problem making new laws just for Trump, inventing crimes out of whole cloth if that is what it is going to take to get him.
