Trumps Lawyers are idiots...

On Monday Trumps legal team filed a lawsuit in Federal Court in the Southern District of Florida, I looked up the filing and it is STUPID. The filed a political rant without addressing the legal issues necessary to file such a document.

If I had filed such a document the Court would have dismissed it without comment, and that is what I thought they would do... Instead she embarrassed the lawyers with the following order...

Full docket text for document 10:
PAPERLESS ORDER: The Court is in receipt of [1] Plaintiff's Motion for Judicial Oversight and Additional Relief. To facilitate appropriate resolution, on or before August 26, 2022, Plaintiff shall file a supplement to the Motion further elaborating on the following: (1) the asserted basis for the exercise of this Court's jurisdiction, whether legal, equitable/anomalous, or both; (2) the framework applicable to the exercise of such jurisdiction; (3) the precise relief sought, including any request for injunctive relief pending resolution of the Motion; (4) the effect, if any, of the proceeding before Magistrate Judge Bruce E. Reinhart; and (5) the status of Plaintiff's efforts to perfect service on Defendant. Signed by Judge Aileen M. Cannon on 8/23/2022. (AMC)

I cant wait to see how they respond... The Judge is basically saying, "What the Fuck did you file and why?

She is asking them to file what any first year lawyer knows they should have included in the first place.

The point isn't to win some legal issue. The point of the lawsuit is to do exactly what you just said -- make any further prosecution of #TRE45ON a political game rather than a legitimate criminal matter. And when he loses, he will blame the "corrupt legal system."

Ive never filed a lawsuit and gotten such a response from a judge. It would be very embarrassing.

Well, I have no problems embarrassing lawyers when I deal with them, particularly if they're the one(s) for the other party in some matter.

They're just following Trump's orders.

You are an embarrassment to yourself for posting such mindless, pointless, and frivolous tripe.

Apparently these morons cited civil law guidelines for appointing a special master, and not criminal case guidelines, in their filing. IIRC she also basically told them there's a sample filing that can be found on the court website if they want to do it right.

I don’t understand why someone with the kind of money Trump coins he has could not afford an attorney who understood the law and how to file a lawsuit.

No competent lawyer wants to work for Trump, so Trump has to use whoever is willing to work for him. What is probably happening here is that the lawyers that Trump has, have to dance to the tune that Trump as dictated.

Another reason is he uses those lawyers who work for free--he didn't pay Rudy or Cohen (until Cohen took a full time job with Trump) and then he had to take a pay cut.

They're miles better than you, fucktard.

Can he practice law now? No? STFU then.

We are talking about when he did practice law and worked for Trump. He went to prison for paying off Stormy Daniels and other women to keep quite about having sex with Trump. That was an attempt to influence a campaign and they did not disclose the spending to the FEC. Also for lying to Congress and tax evasion.

He tells a story in his book about how Trump got him to cheat in an online election about the most influential businessman. Trump wanted to be #1 but his staff talked him into settling for #5. They bought a bunch of ISPN addresses to cast votes. He was Trump's lawyer from 2006-2018.

I would’ve filed a lawsuit for him if he paid me enough. I would’ve done it correctly, and he would not have been embarrassed.
