At least with a tax cut the government is not handing out money like they did with Trump (and Biden) handing out the stimulus money, extra unemployment benefits, child tax credit, and other CARES Act programs. Trump ran up the debt by $7.5 trillion and Biden may equal that.

That wasn't a real university. I don't think students got federal funds. Trump had to pay $25 million settlement he said he would win--maybe the students got some of that settlement.

Lack of research and good advertising. One reason he lost the case was because the school said it did not make all the promises the students claimed but they had all the ads making those very promises. Trump said the judge was prejudiced against him because of the judge's Hispanic heritage.

Students enroll in a lot of the private for-profit colleges and online schools that are "accredited" but very poor quality. Sometimes the students are even paid to attend (out of their loan money).
