China Stupidity: Creating a single point of failure, why?

Interesting. In fascism, corporations are PINO, private in name only. The CEOs serve the State under the threats of death, imprisonment, and bankruptcy.

Our own social media and silicon giants bent the knee to the DemSoc party, ... under the threat of removal of Section 230 immunity, ... and interfered with the 2020 election.

The Chinese have a housing glut. There are many towns that were built that are still empty.

Capitalism can become oligarchy, not fascism, IMO. We are seeing signs of a Silicon Valley oligarchy.

That is not a libertarian plank that I am aware of. Laws enforcing Fair competition help to keep corporations competitive, ... and those competitive market forces help keep them "moral, responsible and competent", ... and providing the people with what they want.

Their demographic problem is worse than they expected and they are not having any success in getting the Chinese to have kids, but it is also true that the extra housing was built with the expectation that after the Empire achieves global domination large numbers of people will be imported to do the low skilled jobs. They dont consider the so called housing glut to be a problem, they call it preparation.

Now we will see if it works out like they expect....

Why the fuck should I waste my time, watching 10, fucking minutes about a country I barely give a shit about?

Learn what a 'summary' is - for f's sake.

Lazy ass.

In summary, giving china favored nation status without forcing them to change their human rights atrocities was stupid, and is stupid going forward.

additionally, globalization has its place, but now it's mostly fucking stupid, especially when people tell you you must trade and become dependant on geopolitical foes.

My understanding is that these empty towns were built so the growing middle class would had some place to invest their money.

China is already concerned about the flood of farmers/villagers into the big cities.

They are fucking people over by taking money to start new developments instead of finishing ones they promised.

It's all collapsing.

it's a basically a multitrillion dollar ponzi scheme. like society.

They need to change the system, currently people start paying when they sign the contract, not as we do when the property is built and the government approves moving in.

people have stopped paying those mortgages in protest.

china needs to stop being fascist and side with citizens over corporations.

They need a new way forwards, the party is under pressure to figure it out. However the more pressing problem is COVID policy.....ZERO COVID currently looks like a big mistake, and they dont seem able to adjust.

they need be outed from power and destroyed utterly.

fuck china.

china is a fucking paper tiger.

people saying we simply cannot stop trading with them are moronic sold out idiots.

We dont make much anymore, even if the American people were still quality (we are not) it would take decades to rebuild manufacturing.

no it wouldn't, debbie downer.

the value of self reliance is immeasurable.

it's definitely worth doing.

We dont have any practice with building, all we have done for a long time is deconstruct what our ancestors gifted us.

We would not be good at it either, people are generally fragile and stupid, raised to be that way by a Revolution which is buring America to the ground so that UTOPIA can spring up from the ashes.

Thank you.

1) 'favored nation status' has nothing to do with anything but trade.
MFN does not even mention human rights.
And nor should it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Most_favoured_nation

As Ron Paul rightly says (paraphrased), cutting off trade with 'naughty' countries does nothing to stop them being 'naughty'.
Look at Russia?
They were cut off.
Didn't stop them in the slightest from continuing to invade Ukraine.

US embargoed Cuba to try and stop them being communist roughly 60 years ago.
That failed TOTALLY.

Trade and human rights should NEVER be mixed.
The more a country depends on trade?
The less likely they will be to end that trade they depend on by acting lousy.

The main reason China has not invaded Taiwan now is probably because to embargo them would hurt their economy too much.
Because they are now strong enough militarily to do it.
Trade has saved Taiwan's butts (for now).

Trade and military's should never be mixed.
America should either attack Russia IN Ukraine directly or stay the fuck out of it completely - including embargoes and giving Ukraine GINORMOUS stuff at taxpayer's expense
(I would choose the latter myself - it's none of our business. Their mess is not worth dying for).

2) who ever said you need to be dependent on other countries?
No one I can remember.

Free trade is great.
It allows consumers to benefit from lower prices all over the globe.
And raises the general standard of living - especially amongst the lower classes.

Now, I am against letting China get away with copyright infringements.
And I would have taken them to task MUCH harder on the Uyghur genocide AND the Spratly's they have stolen (against international law) AND causing Covid and letting it spread.
But I would have threatened military responses - a military run embargo.
How?
I would have taken back the Spratly's - by force if necessary - and given them back to their rightful owners.
And demanded a trillion or two dollars in compensation for Covid PLUS demanded free, UN access to examine the Uyghur genocide.
If China failed to accommodate us?
I would threaten China with a naval blockade if they failed on either.

But there is a big difference between restricting trade/tariffs and a naval blockade.

One is for wusses.
And does little.
As history has shown.

The other is military and risks war.
Which is fine by me.

America is going to have to fight China one day - eventually (probably).
Better to do it now (or at least use our superiority to force them to back off), whilst we are still stronger than they are.
Rather than wait a few generations when we no longer are.

And Obama, Trump and Biden have let China push their weight around FAR too much in the last 10+ years or so.
And forget Trump's tariffs.
They did nothing to even slow down China.

It must stop.
America MUST stand up to China militarily - whilst we still can.
We must force them to act decently with the threat of war.

completely wrong, globalist neocon.

human rights should be included in mfn.

trade shoud be mixed with everything.

We can defeat them now by stop buying their cheap crap.

a hot war is stupid.

steep tariffss are enough..

you're just a globalist neocon military industrial complex shill.
