I've been told a Red Wave is coming

Well, consider the source of the information.

Trump has turned the 2022 election into a referendum on himself again.

The last time that happened- DONALD TRUMP HAD TO GO TO THE BATHROOM AND GRAB HIMSELF A CRYING TOWEL!

And he is still crying about it. YES! Trump was already rejected by the VOTING MAJORITY! WE'LL BE HAPPY TO SHOW HIM THE DOOR AGAIN!

They say, when you lose, and you keep doing the same things that led to your defeat, you should never expect positive results the next time.

TRUMPTY DUMPTY HAD A BIG FALL! AND ALL OF THE TRUMPTARDS WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO PUT HIM BACK TOGETHER AGAIN!

The Democrat cheating method will be figured out sooner or later.

The problem is gerrymandering that favors the Republicans means they can get 40% of the vote and still get 60% or more of the House seats in many states.

I have been trying to get people to pay attention to those crimes of cheating in elections since before the last census here

How'd that theory hold in Wyoming?

My theory is that the more Republicans worship Trump, the more they make him the face of the party and of the news cycle, the more these national polls seem to be incrementally trending towards the Democrats.

I am fine with making this election a referendum on Trump worship.

Democrats hold 4 point lead over Republicans on generic congressional ballot: poll

Democrats are leading Republicans by 4 percentage points on a generic congressional ballot, according to a new poll.

A Politico-Morning Consult poll released Wednesday found 46 percent of registered voters would choose the Democratic candidate compared to 42 percent who would choose the Republican if the election for Congress was held in their district today.

i guess you didn’t notice that incumbent Liz Cheney lost to a Trump endorsed candidate by the largest margin in this century. Conservatives don’t tend to like to talk to polls . It’s the economy stupid.

Meanwhile fivethirtyeight.com today has Democrat chances of keeping control of the Senate at 63 percent. Before the SC killed Roe and the televised Jan. 6 hearings it was a 50/50 race.

Keeping the Senate is way more important than keeping the House, because they approve federal judges

That was a republican Primary, not an open election.

The Republican Cheating method is Obvious!

Just deny- Lie- and Cry!

FUCK YOU AND YOUR DENYING, LYING, and CRYING JACKASS- YOU RODE IN ON!

Trump might be a jackass and an obnoxious New Yorker, too. However, he was a good president that did good things for the country the best he knew how.

That's more than can be said for most presidents in the past 40 years.

It is not unusual for the Democrats to win the national popular vote in mid-term House elections but still lose seats (or control) of the House. It has little to do with gerrymandering but because of large Democratic majorities in some large states like CA an NY and because of demographic changes in housing patterns.

It cannot be attributed to gerrymandering because the same patterns occur in voting jurisdictions that do not have lines--governor and other state-wide offices and U. S. Senator.

No Sir- Good presidents don't lie, steal, and cheat. LYING, STEALING, AND CHEATING ARE CRIMINAL, IMMORAL, UNETHICAL, NEFARIOUS ACTS!

You need to go all the way back to your childhood- LEARN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHAT IS RIGHT- AND WHAT IS WRONG.

Because you struggle with reality, the truth, and what side you want to represent, you will find yourself following the idiots and criminals among us.

Not very smart and certainly not sustainable when your LEADER IS UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR MULTI TREASONOUS AND CRIMINAL ACTS.

Give 1 example each of Trump

1) lying

2) stealing

3) cheating

Good luck! Democrats lied, cheated, and stole to get him out of The White House so they could be in charge. How is that working out for everybody?

Massive tax increases, higher food, fuel, and bill prices? Yeah, Democrats suck balls, brah.

Americans are losing more of what they make now than at any time in history prior.

Wtf is this shit? The "Company Town" model?

And remember that both California and New York lost seats and Texas and Florida both picked up seats. I wonder which party will pick up those seats?

You had better tell Biden that because it is going to ruin the Biden crime family’s business plan

Republicans should win the two new House seats in TX although they will probably lose the seat just won by the Hispanic lady in South Texas because she will be running in a much more Democratic district than her current seat.

I think the Republicans will still win the House but Democrats will lose fewer seats than either Obama or Trump.

I have seen MAGAs on this board doing a victory dance and proclaiming a blood bath with 50 to 60 Dem house seats lost.

I am a data person, and I am not seeing the data that supports that type of end zone spiking.

The important thing from the Dem perspective is to hold the Senate and get judges confirmed.

All presidents generally achieve their legislative initiatives in their first two years, if at all. This has been the most productive congress in the 21st century and passed a number of Biden's landmark initiatives. Biden came in with an extremely bold vision, and he got 70 percent of what he wanted, despite razor thin margins in Congress. Biden's next two years will focus on governance, not legislative initiatives.

Presidents are more productive their first two years because they lose seats in the midterm. Even if they maintain control of Congress it is with a smaller margin.

When you look at those presidents who were very successful with Congress (LBJ) he also had a 2/3 margin in Congress; so, his his high support scores (75%-93%) were due partly to his personality and style, but also because he had such a large majority.

The average seats lost in the first mid-term is 27. I think Biden will lost about that. His negatives bring him down but a winning president usually picks up a lot of "extra" seats in the presidential election. Since Biden did not win these extra seats he has fewer to lose. More House seats are basically safe for one party and only about 40 seats are competitive that will determine control.
