Federal court hearing set for Aug. 18 to consider motions to release the Trump raid affidavit
A hearing will take place on Thursday to determine whether a federal judge should unseal the affidavit that the FBI used to justify last week’s search of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate, after the Justice Department said doing so would compromise the “ongoing criminal investigation” and Trump called for the document’s “immediate release.”
The hearing will take place at a federal district court in Florida at 1 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce E. Reinhart ruled on Tuesday, as he decided to take the issue of whether or not to unseal the documents under advisement.

Probable cause to get the subpoena could be satisfied by proving that the documents were shipped to him, and they are no longer in the governments possession. Then it could be upgraded to a search warrant by just proving trump did not adequately respond to the subpoena. So the affidavits he would get are probably not interesting, and almost certainly not the documents he wants.
How did the Justice Department know that they were in mar-a-lago? If they did not have solid evidence, almost certainly from someone in trump's inner circle, they would not have risked executing a search warrant. It was not necessary to get the search warrant, but it was necessary for them to be willing to get the search warrant.
I am not sure what legal argument trump would use to get that. As long as they do not present the evidence in court, the police can privately talk to anyone who wants to talk to them.
It will never happen even when he ran the DOJ as head of the Executive branch the FBI simply ignored his direct Presidential order to redact and release the spygate dossier and they have continued to do so for two years, he needs to call on his supporters to take up armed action and he needs to do it soon, if conservatives still think we live in a free republic where voting matters then they're delusional.
