Trump claims FBI stole his passport

His diplomatic passport from being president will say on it that he is the president of the United States

He is no longer the president of the United States

He has to return it

So, now you agree with me that he could have a diplomatic passport and almost certainly did have one.

At one time I had two valid ones, a brown US military passport, and blue civilian one. The military one was for official business as a member of the military, the blue for non-military travel and use. In fact, the military prefers that members traveling on commercial transport use the blue one in case of terrorist attack or issues with foreign officials.

So, Trump almost certainly had blue civilian one, and a black diplomatic one.

If they took his passports it was from a yet undisclosed court order and because he is a flight risk.

He likely had a diplomatic passport and a regular, I have no idea why he would have a third.

Are they getting close to an indictment and/or arrest??

Do not be an idiot.

I'm not, but you are trying had since you have nothing to present as evidence.

Yes, though whether a former president is issued a diplomatic passport depends on the circumstances. The Foreign Affairs Manual (at 8 FAM 505.2-2) specifies a “List of Current Endorsements,” among which is code 22, which is an endorsement reserved for diplomatic passports and courtesy diplomatic passports issued to former US presidents:
