Do Trump supporters really think he is innocent?

The ones I know personally..... don't seem to care if he's innocent or not. He has their loyalty, he is their leader, they will follow him to the end.

He was really fucking right when he said "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?"

No so much, "admire" as "give him a pass". They're probably not that excited he's committing crimes except when the Democrats are upset about it. But now those damn Democrats are making it so hard for them now by exposing their lies and stuff and they're actually angry at the Democrats for exposing their prince of darkness to actual scrutiny.

Excellent point. twump wouldn't want to spend 10 seconds next to the dreck who attacked our Capitol for him on 1/6. As soon as he and his cronies were able, they'd fuck the trump supporters in a heartbeat. twumptards are so easy to stir up and steal from.

He has been stealing from them for a long time. He pardoned Bannon for the crime of stealing millions from them.

They've been raised to "fear the other". The "other" being anyone not white or Christian. Then there's the third type. The nut job conspiracy theorist who thinks Democrats eat babies - trump promotes that shit and they will not listen to anyone or anything that contradicts the propaganda. To these people Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, and Donald Trump are their champions - sticking it to those gay and nigger-loving Demoncrats.

That's my analysis.

Yes, there is an aspect of no fear of accountability, aka trump's invulnerability to any blowback. He can do anything, even collude with Russia and if the Democrats are upset about it, more the better for them.
