Kash Patel: All The Documents At Mar-a-Lago Were Already Declassified

Everyone be clear on this.

Patel never indicated that all THESE documents were declassified. He also never said the President can declassify anything secretly. He said there were procedures for declassifying.

Former Trump national security staffer Kash Patel called in with Martha Maccallum on FOX News on Friday to react to the release of the warrant used by the FBI to search President Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort home.

"If he says something is declassified, that's it, it is declassified," Patel explained. "He declassified a whole set of documents that should have come out... That's on the National Archives to sort that material out... Even if it was classified, they'll never meet the burden of intent because the president didn't pack it up and take it out himself, the G.S.A. has said they did it and they made a mistake."

All any President needs to do is say, these documents are declassified. End of story... period. The President doesn’t need to write it down, he doesn’t even need to tell anyone. If the President says it’s declassified... move on, no story here. There are no clear procedures for the President to Declassify anything.

Highly unlikely all documents were declassified (get to that in a minute) but even if they were it is not the end of the story. What is a private citizen doing with documents considered top secret except for his say so, documents involving nuclear weapons? Possession alone of such documents is a crime. Moreover it is likely a politically ruinous position for anyone, even magic man DT. End of story it is not. As for his claim he declassified them - when? how, is there a signed and witnessed statement of the declassification; did he follow the required procedure for declassifying documents? Also, there are reports that certain nuclear documents are not covered by the declassification rule and would keep their special classification status permanently.

But I do understand that many Trump followers are indifferent to anything he does they would condemn if done by anyone else.

It’s over you stupid cons

You lost the whole enchilada

It’s done

Yes

THIS IS IT!

Meanwhile DJT is out and about doing whatever he damned well pleases. Eating nice dinners and shitting in gold toilets while you crawl across your dog piss stained 15 year old carpets. The stench alone must be horrendous. Tonight, as he takes his nightly shit in the gold toilet you are one of those he is LHAO at as he flushes. PLAYED,... bigtime.

Whether classified or declassified, Trump did not have permission to take the documents, violating the Presidential Records Act is no small transgression?!!

The warrant says he was in violation of 18 USC 1519

Whoever knowingly alters, destroys, mutilates, conceals, covers up, falsifies, or makes a false entry in any record, document, or tangible object with the intent to impede, obstruct, or influence the investigation or proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States or any case filed under title 11, or in relation to or contemplation of any such matter or case, shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

20 years is life for the evil fat ass

I would care if he decalssified stuff that should be classified, but legally it carries o significance according to the statutes the AG used to get the warrant.

sounds like sour grapes to me......."who wants to catch Trump with classified documents anyway" said the fox as he walked away......

He was told clearly and repeatedly what he could take

But he stole the government property anyway

Every recent President has had disagreements with the archive people, raiding their house and taking what they want has never been the way it has been handled.

But this is Trump. he gets abused.
