And we will see this one day as the outrageous attack on our system on the prior president, on scores of people that it truly is. It’s an abomination to the American system — not just of justice but our congressional and representative system.”

“This is tyranny,” Levin concluded. “You’re staring it in the face.”

Come on TD, do your research. The House or Pelosi does not oversee the capitol police and did not refuse national guard troops on January 6. Pelosi did not "get immunity" but Congress has sovereign immunity from FOIA lawsuits.

It answers to the Capitol Police Board and is the only full-service federal law enforcement agency appointed by the legislative branch of the federal government of the United States.
