If you want to stop China before it's too late then you have to cut the umbilical cord. The likes of Apple are especially vulnerable and need to relocate asap. It's no good relying on Foxconn to build iPhones, whilst they are Taiwanese, they have many factories in mainland China and they be totally screwed if Xi takes over Taiwan.

Well, I've thought it through enough to know that having seed to grow truck farm vegetables (things like tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.) and having 5 producing citrus trees in the backyard I'll at least have some means to grow food and trade for more variety.

So many are not at all prepared to survive, they have never measured up their entire lives, and so many too have not ever experienced the dangers of the real world for fear of a skinned knee.

It will be the mental weakness, the trained instinct to cry as they curl up to die, that gets the majority. You see that at the Army Ranger school....it is mental/emotional fragility that sinks the most.

I am trying to toughen you fuckers up.

I hate the damn phones. Get rid of them. I won't miss them.

I'm old school. I don't like the fact that chips have replaced analog in so many things. And that foreign chip dependence, especially on Taiwan, has created an economic Achilles heel for America.

I'd wager that 90% of the posters here are over 50, and are already tough. Saying 'buckle up" isn't going to toughen up anyone here. I doubt it would even work on the kids over at Reddit.
