Naomi Judd leaves Wynonna and Ashley out of her will.

"Taken care of"?

They are not paupers - they are millionaires who want for nothing.

And there is no reason to think that they will not eventually get some or all of the estate, they simply must go through the husband, or wait for him to die.

Apparently at least one of the kids is offended by this.

Who alleges manipulation and what is the evidence?

It is possible, when that kind of money is concerned. Another possibility is she may have taken care of the girls thru trusts or titlements. Unless there was bad blood I can't see a woman not taking care of her children. Remember women have a special bond with their children.

Kids that already have $12-14 million dont need to split another $25 million to be taken care of, and lots of people have come to the conclusion that leaving kids a bunch of money is bad for the kids and so they dont do it.

Your thinking here is shoddy.

Naomi Judd left her two daughters, Wynonna Judd and Ashley Judd, out of her will, Page Six reports.

The country singer, who died by suicide on April 30, appointed her husband Larry Strickland as the executor of her estate, per the report.

Naomi Judd, per documents, requested the 76-year-old Strickland have “full authority and discretion” over any property that is an asset to her estate “without the approval of any court” or permission from any beneficiary of the estate.

RadarOnline.com reports a source said Wynonna, 58, is “upset” that she was excluded because she “believes she was a major force behind her mother’s success” and the duo, The Judds. The outlet also reports the will and estate to be worth $25 million dollars.

According to Page Six, Strickland should be entitled to receive “reasonable compensation” for his services, and that he would be paid or reimbursed for all “reasonable expenses, advances and disbursements, including attorney’s and accountant’s fees, made or incurred in the administration of my estate.”

In May, Ashley Judd told “Good Morning America” her mother died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

“She used a weapon … a firearm,” Ashley Judd said. “So that’s the piece of information we’re very uncomfortable sharing, but understand that we’re in a position, that if we don’t say it, someone else is going to.”

Ashley Judd revealed she found her mother’s body, adding, “I went upstairs to let her know that her good friend was there and I discovered her. I have both grief and trauma from discovering her.”

My heart goes out to Naomi's Family.

I was a huge fan of the Judds, and Ashley!

But giving the estate to Larry Strickland made sense because that way the inheritance of the two daughters won't be taxed by 40%.

I believe Larry Strickland will allow now for Wynonna to acquire the full ownership to the Judds music rights, and eventually give both Daughters the money they would have received had they been in the will.

Being that Larry Strickland was Naomi's legal husband, he would have been the main recipient to Naomi's estate anyhow.

You make a lot of assumptions considering you have zero idea of the inner-workings of this family. There is no evidence the husband of 35 years was acting nefariously.

Whatever the reason, it was Naomi's wishes and as such, should be honored. We don't know the history and the personal details of the whole situation.

She had her reasons and had not been declared incompetent by a judge. End of story.

We know she had mental problems, and killed herself, but you assume she made her will sanely and logically. I say she may or may not have been aware of her actions.

And they earned that money so they fucking know the value of a dollar. As to your other pearl of wisdom. You are referring to kids who have never worked and get daddys money.

Your reply makes more sense than some of the idiots here.

Exactly....she could also have been influence by her spouse of 33 years, Larry Strickland. He earned the $25M.

That isn't the point. Naomi was suffering from mental issues. How do we know her husband/executor didn't use her issues to get her to name him and leave the girls out?

Oh I didn't think about that, didn't even cross my mind. They were married for quite some time.

Maybe some type of rift occurred no one knew about. She wasn't that incoherent, she did an interview not long before her death.

Hmm, no wonder she was left out. Her mother's horrible mental struggles, and suicide, is all about Ashley, not her mother. Gods.

Sounds to me like he was only appointed as executor which is not the same as a beneficiary.

He's not necessarily entitled to any of her estate aside from the reasonable compensation any executors are entitled to.

Maybe she left all her money to charity.

Liar, I am referring to what parents have decided, "I will not give my kids large sums of money, it is bad for them" regardless of what those kids have done or not done in life, this decision does not get changed if the kids are successful on their own.

A rich kid is whining, apparently.

I am not sure what is going on with Anita....the movie was greenlit in 2019 with big names locked in but then there was COVID and Ashley got seriously hurt in Africa...I dont remember the details. IMBd says that the project is active, and they should know.

No one here knows the details and the whole story. Lots of things go on in families. All you are doing is speculating based on nothing.

what a stupid thread......the OP says her husband was appointed the executor of the estate......that isn't "beneficiary"......why are all you idiots clueless?......

He's speculating based on results so not on "nothing"; Naomi was mentally ill, killed herself and had a simple will of letting the husband decide everything. While it's interesting that a rich, successful woman dies, effectively, without a will, it's not that odd.

They were a good-looking group:
