Biden announces US killing of al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri

President Biden announced the US successfully targeted al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in a drone strike in Afghanistan, saying in White House remarks that “justice has been delivered.”

Zawahiri was sheltering in a safe house in Kabul, according to a US official, and was killed in "a precise tailored airstrike" using two Hellfire missiles. No American personnel were on the ground in Kabul at the time of the strike.

Zawahiri had remained a visible international symbol of the group, 11 years after the US killed Osama Bin Laden. At one point, he acted as bin Laden's personal physician.

Extremists, regardless of flavor, are required to dislike anything the opposition does. This includes all past Presidents. Let's be honest, even Pedo Don signed some good bills, did a few good things. While I think his action against Qasem Soleimani was as deftly handled as Biden's exit out of Afghanistan, both goals were accomplished. Results count but so does accountability.

In this case, the fact an asshole was picked off from his balcony without harm to others is very interesting to me due to the accuracy and possible limited range of lethality.

None of that thrashing around in a hospital bed with tubes in every orifice. IMO, that fate is what drives the high rate of elderly male suicides in America...and the vital numbers the gun banners want for "gun violence". LOL
