I can still see the picture in my mind's eye, Bin Laden is at the table in the White House with George and Barbara. The pic is in black and white and there's a chandelier. It was in the newspapers.

For the record, I would definitely believe that a Bush hosted a half brother of Bin Laden (so "a Bin Laden") to dinner, but it is completely impossible that Bush jr invited a by then internationally wanted terrorist into the White House. How would Bin Laden even get into the USA.
While Bin Laden was not a wanted international terrorist when Bush sr. was in the White House, he had a burning hatred for America, and was unimportant to American foreign policy. He would not want a picture taken of himself in the White House, nor would want to politely enter the White House. Bush sr. would have had no reason to invite a random Arab into the White House.
As for how such a photo could exist, the Russians have been putting out poor photoshopped fakes for years.

I responded to both Matt's versions. Laura Bush followed Clinton, so Bin Laden would still have been a wanted terrorist while Laura Bush was First Lady.
He was planning terrorism against the USA and had a burning hatred of the USA when Barbara Bush was First Lady, but was not a wanted terrorist. He had publicly called for terrorist attacks, and been expelled from Saudi Arabia. The US Government was watching him, but not trying to kill him.
This is not the type of person that could have gotten into not just the USA, but even the White House. For crying out loud, he was stateless without a passport.
