Trump's own national security advisor said Trump was probably going to try to pull out of NATO in his second term, and Trump was widely known to hate Ukraine.

Also Trump seems to be seeking special favors from Putin, and Trump is well known to only care about what benefits him personally.

Ukraine will keep fighting, and NATO will keep building defense, even without the USA, but a trump presidency would be a disaster for everyone but Russia and China.
