Until recently I have not seen much that would indicate any of the prosecutors in the various investigations were working toward charging Trump or any of his cronies with serious crimes however that has changed in the last few days.

The NYT today published a trove of emails about the fake elector scheme indicating that many involved not only understood it the plan was likely illegal, but that they did it anyway. The writers of the emails and planners of the "fake elector scheme" even referred to the electors as "fake" and discussed how to try to keep them hidden from Congress so they would have the element of suprise when they tried to get them pushed in to position so they could supplant the real electors.

I suspect Rudy and some of Trumps lawyers will be indicted, and if there is any link to Trump, he is going to get it also.

Additionally, the fact that a Federal Grand Jury subpoenaed Pence's Chief of Staff and the fact that he did not fight the subpoena but instead spent 8 hours testifying is something that would very much concern me if I was Trump or part of his inner circle in the days going onto January 6.

I am finally seeing how this might unfold and that some groundwork toward serious indictments is being laid down.

Mike Roman and Boris Epshteyn seem to be particularly likely to be indicted.

John Eastman is very likely going down, I just cant tell how far up the evidence goes.

"Some of the participants also expressed approval in the emails for keeping some of their activities out of the public eye.
For instance, after Mr. Trump hosted Pennsylvania state legislators at the White House in late November to discuss reversing the election outcome..." - NYT

Bruce Marks, (A lawyer for the campaign) in an email to the NYT, distanced himself from the plan to persuade Pence to decertify the electors... “I had no involvement with Professor Eastman’s advice regarding the vice president’s role, which I only learned about after the fact, and do not support.”

The January 6th Committee has also heard testimony from Mr. Jacob, who was Mr. Pence’s counsel in the White House, that Mr. Eastman admitted in the Jan. 4 Oval Office meeting — with Mr. Trump present — that his plan to have Mr. Pence obstruct the electoral certification violated the Electoral Count Act.

You lied when you said that federal income taxes have never been higher...other lies too.

You lie, pendejo.

A mistake is not a lie, and the point stands, taxes are much much lower than they were for most of our history. You want to run from reality, its what your ilk do. Hawley and you!

You lied and your ilk lie constantly.

You posted that federal income taxes have never been higher. A lie.

In 1944-45, “the most progressive tax years in U.S. history,” the 94% rate applied to any income above $200,000 ($2.4 million in 2009 dollars, given inflation).

Time to tell your client to just deny it when caught by his wife, in bed with another woman.

Just lie, your profession and your ilk are skilled at lying.

Doubtful Trump wouldn’t get charged, just further disgraced, but quite a few of Trump’s lackeys will fall

I still think that is the most likely scenario, but its inching closer to Trump himself lately.

Garland spoke to NBC today in an interview. He finally realizes that most Americans know Trump organized the violent coup.

I am just reading about it, the snowball is growing fast. I think it’s more likely now than I thought it was when I started this thread a few hours ago.

The Washington post article, and now I’m reading about Garland’s interview.

Garland said he is not yielding to pressure and just doing his investigation. But clearly he realized the Jan. 6 Comm. has been stating publicly that the Attorney General has been negligant.

The Washington Post says Trump is officially being investigated, that’s new, and a big deal.
