Unlike you, I actually know Russians who have been detrimentally effected by the war you and Putin wanted.

They would be foolish if they did. Only an international tribunal should be acceptable, one open to investigation of war crimes by both sides. Anyway, interesting the nation that wages war by blowing up apartment buildings wants to investigate war crimes by its victim.

The US isn't a signatory to the ICC- yet provides weapons with which the Zelenskies commit war crimes. Why would it be inappropriate for a non-ICC tribunal to be allowed into Ukraine to investigate Ukrainian war crimes ?
As things stand any investigative outcome looks to be dependent upon who owns the judges.
